Can you have everything you want in life? No, but you can have a bit of everything.

I usually don’t talk about my work with my friends as they know me better for my book and sport activity (thanks to my husband’s passion that fortunately allured me as well into fitness), but most of my time is divided between my family and my VOIP consultant job.

This consists of a large scale of activities from making new contracts to day-to-day sales routine of various telecom routes worldwide. Sometimes the financial reward is less then the one coming from a full time job but I choose this type of work in order to win the most important thing in the world for me: TIME.

Time to see my kid grow, without needing a babysitter, to watch a movie and have fun with my husband, to go to the gym and read books. I go out every day on long walks with my 3 years old boy and visit parks, museums, coffee shops, do shopping, enjoying as much as possible his childhood. As I know that it will pass soon. And at that time I will most likely want to go back to working full time (or not) in order to fill up my time.

Or hopefully will be able to write on a full time basis as I have many projects in mind. Right now writing probably takes 5% of my time but I am still happy with it. I am happy that I have published 1 book and the second will be ready soon. And that some people already like my writing.

I see many talented writers in my country that dedicate lot of time to this (or at least so it seems) and they read so much more than me. Sometimes it discourages me as I can’t commit same energy and time like they do. But soon after i hear my kid laughing and wanting to go outside to play and i say to myself: there will be time for writing as well.
Now is the time to be full time mom and telecom consultant. But also to give that 5% to my books as it will sum up someday to some nice pages. And then they will keep me warm and give me new reasons to enjoy life as my kid will have his own life and ambitions.
